Marble mania

Here are some photos from my bday, as I promised you a few days ago. I'm done with my Diplomacy (I hope to pass). I have a lot more to study, so I'll be posting rarely. Hope u dont' mind. The weather is wierd again, no Sun, no colour blocking.

I have to tell you that I'm absolutely fascinated with this lipgloss. I got it as a gift, and until than, I'm in love. The marble effect gives this gloss a seductive look and merges into one color when applied on your lips, dipping them in a glossy, iridescent glow (as u can see on the picture above)

Sixty isn't the new 40, and 80 isn't the new 60. I know it. You know it. So why do we buy into it?

As you know, it's my birthday in just two days, more precisely, on Friday, 25th of May- and I'm getting older, people! Although, I still dare to be called young. 22 is the perfect age; this is the third year I'm saying this it and it probably will not be the last ^^
I don’t know about you, but the chirpy tales that dominate the public discussion about aging — you know, the ones that tell us that age is just a state of mind, that “60 is the new 40″ and “80 the new 60″ — irritate me. What’s next: 100 as the new middle age?
Hmmm, whatever ! - It's Official: I know what I want for my birthday. I made my little list of birthday wishes (material and immaterial) and I hope that at least part of will be fulfilled.

More focus, more mental discipline.
I want to say what I mean.
I want to know what I feel.
Less worry.
More time with joy, less with anxiety.
Better priorities. Determination. Resolve.
Closer relationship with God and strengthen my spiritual life.
I want to blog more frequently and make this blog a strong resource for inspiration and ideas for lovely soirees.
Some quality time with my friends and family.
Amazing journey.

And of course, a few material things as well ^^

1. Peplum - The interesting thing about peplum is that I have nowhere seen it - so even an information would be useful for me.

2. Asymetric shoes - I'm so in love with these slightly elegant shapes, plus an odd little “fat roll” around the sides.

3. Oversized clutch - No need to say why ^^
4. New collar necklace - Versatility with numerous styles, colors, gemstones, metals and textures.

Out of the Blue

“It would be mortifying to the feelings of many ladies, could they be made to understand how little the heart of a man is affected by what is costly or new in their attire... Woman is fine for her own satisfaction alone. No man will admire her the more, no woman will like her the better for it. Neatness and fashion are enough for the former, and a something of shabbiness or impropriety will be most endearing to the latter.” ―
Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey

It is the quality rather than the quantity that matters.

18th of May - Last night I attended to Talent Show for Miss Earth BiH i Slo 2012 in Colloseum Club in Sarajevo and this is what I've been wearing. Tonight I should attend Elections for Miss Earth - Bosnia 2012, but I have a few doubts trough some duties I have to realise.
Have a nice weekend and some great outfits !

Inspirations

I don't know about your countries, but the time in Sarajevo is terrible. It's raining for days (even the snow had appeared in May!). It's very dusky. I'm a embittered meteoropath and every time when temperatures begin to fall, I end up under the blanket. This morning the same situation. Even so, I got a terrible headache, so I write still out of bed.
I have a few combinations in my head that could spices hot summer days, but however, the Sun does not allow me to realize them. Even my new ZARA skirt, I wrote about in previous post, is hanging in the closet waiting for the sun. In the absence of warm weather and the opportunity to go for a walk, I bring you some photos which in these rainy days makes the real inspiration in my head.

Torquoise Zara Maxi Skirt

Yesterday I had a pretty lucky day and I found this ZARA maxi skirt in tirquoise colour. I think it's very usefule, because it can be worn also like a dress and I have to mention that my fave stuff had always been clothes that can be worn in a few different ways. I absolutely LOVE it! It's such a comfortable skirt and the fit of the skirt is amazing and fits perfectly on my waist. What do you think of maxi skirts?
How would you wear them?

Here's a few ideas !

Chanel Resort 2013

The celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld rolled out a baroque-tinged cruise collection on Monday at the seat of French opulence, Versailles Palace, with film stars and other celebrities such as actress Tilda Swinton and singer Vanessa Paradis in appearance.

"The palace is the perfect place for Chanel, you couldn't imagine anything better," said Paradis, who watched as models filed by with ruffled eighteenth century tulle sleeves.

Model of the moment Cara Delavigne opened the show in a velvety, pale blue denim dress, with a crisp A-line skirt. But the rest of show felt more like Chanel's answer to a Baroque history lesson. Beauty spots, bottom-heavy skirts, and floral chokers infused spectators with a feeling of Marie Antoinette's heyday. The rococo embellishments on many of the garments Karl Lagerfeld sent down the runway made it impossible to imagine him showing the collection anywhere else. Floral embroidery accented modernized versions of what French nobles wore to the court of Louis XVI, and many of the looks were paired with pastel-colored flatforms. Another look twinned a black, fitted sequined zipper jacket, with a raw-edged, silk bustle skirt which hung like petals in soft pastels of pale pink, blue and yellow.

"Oh no, lightness is what France is known for. I don't delve into politics here," said German-born Lagerfeld, after the show. "Besides, I can't vote."

Earlier this year, Chanel presented 'Secret Garden - Versailles'
A film by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, starring Daria Strokus, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju in La Galeries Des Glaces - Château de Versailles.
